We are the Adults Voice and Influence Team. We are part of Adult Social Care at the London Borough of Waltham Forest. We work with adults in the borough who either receive adult social care services, or who care for someone who does.
Our role is to help residents get involved in improving adult social care. We remove barriers that make it harder for people to take part, and we communicate just how important it is that residents lead the way.
This is the bestway to make sure our services are right for residents. We cannot truly know what a service is like unless we've experienced it.
Our work is guided by co-production and the engagement ladder. We help both staff and residents understand what co-production means, and what it makes possible. Learn more about co-production here.
Our web page features our current focuses and examples of our previous work together. It goes into more detail about how you can get involved, and gives you the option to request support to make involvement more accessible for you. Please feel free to look around and to reach out to us if you have any more questions or requests.
