The Leytonstone Town Team is a partnership of local residents, businesses, community organisations and stakeholders working together to support and enhance Leytonstone Town Centre. The team help to champion local priorities, deliver projects and events, improve the local environment, and encourage a thriving, welcoming high street for everyone.
By bringing people together, the Town Team plays an important role in shaping the future of Leytonstone, celebrating its unique character, and creating opportunities for the community to get involved and make a positive difference.
Some of the projects that have been delivered by the Town Team include:
Creation of the Annual Open Leytonstone event
Summer at St John’s which takes place every year in August
Tackling Crime and ASB Matters in conjunction with the Police
Leytonstone Loves Local which celebrates and encourages the use of local businesses
Leytonstone Guide – a website that showcases all that takes place in Leytonstone Town Centre and includes an Entertainment map of the Town Centre
Yearly Outdoor Exhibitions and Murals to animate the town centre
As we review our priorities and develop a renewed focus for the years ahead, we're inviting those who are passionate about Leytonstone to get involved. This is an opportunity to share ideas, influence projects and initiatives, and work alongside others to help create a vibrant, welcoming and thriving town centre for everyone.
