The Feel Good Team are looking to gauge the interest in weekly free sports & wellbeing sessions for adults and children at Leyton Sports Ground.

We would be grateful if you could complete this questionnaire to help in our planning stages of the programme and to measure the demand for potential sessions in the local area. At this stage there is no guarantee that we will be able to run the sessions - this is just to understand what residents would like to see.

The free Sports & Wellbeing sessions are funded by the Waltham Forest Feel Good Team and Sport England. The Feel Good team requires all participants to complete a registration form for the sessions. Please note completion of the form is required for the first session only and will cover the duration of the programme. The sessions are aimed at those wanting to start or try gentle fitness activities. All sessions are held at Leyton Sports Ground, E10 6PY.

The Waltham Forest Sport and Leisure Team have partnered with GLL and Feel-Good Accredited Club Black Arrows Badminton Club to launch a new Junior Badminton Programme aimed at boys and girls aged 8 to 17. 

These free weekly sessions will take place at Walthamstow Leisure Centre, 243 Markhouse Road, London, E17 8RN  on Friday's between 5pm to 7pm from Friday 24^th January to Friday 27^th June 2025. 

The programme will provide opportunities for young people to represent Waltham Forest at the London Youth Games Badminton Competition. A limited number of badminton rackets will be available to use at each session, however if possible please bring your own racket.

Waltham Forest U13 Boys / U13 and U15 Girls

(Boys) Thursday *9^th January and Friday 17^th January from 4:30pm to 6pm

(Girls) Friday *10^th January and Thursday 16^th January from 4:30pm to 6pm 

*Your child is only required to attend one trial day which will be confirmed by email.

For Boys in Year 6 to Year 8 

(Born between 01/09/2011 and 31/08/2014)

For Girls in Year 6 to Year 8 (U13) or Year 9 to Year 10 (U15)

Under 13 - (Born between 01/09/2011 and 31/08/2014)

You must either live or go to school in the Borough of Waltham Forest to compete.
