Waltham Forest is one of the lowest-funded councils per person in the country. We need your voice to help us push for that to change.
Despite facing similar challenges to our neighbouring boroughs, we receive far less central government funding. Our inner London neighbours benefit from higher teacher salaries, greater public health funding, and more financial support for housing homeless families. This is an outdated, unfair and unsustainable model.
Since 2021 we have been calling for a Fair Deal for Waltham Forest. With the government now consulting on how local authorities are funded, we have a vital opportunity to make our case for change.
