You are being invited to participate in a research study. Before you decide whether to participate, it is important that you understand why the research is being done and what it will involve. Please take time to read the following information carefully.
What is the purpose of the study?
This research project is mapping creative health organisations and activities across Waltham Forest to create a directory for the new Council website. Creative health refers to arts and cultural activities (like painting, music, dance, theatre, crafts, writing, film) that support people's health and wellbeing.
The study aims to:
· Identify what creative health activities exist in Waltham Forest
· Understand who these activities serve and how accessible they are
· Create a searchable directory for residents and healthcare professionals
· Identify gaps and opportunities to strengthen creative health provision
The research is being conducted as part of a Master's (MASc in Creative Health) dissertation at University College London (UCL), in partnership with Waltham Forest Council's Culture team.
