Our residents' group, Waltham Forest Engage, meets once a month. This is a group for people who either have experience receiving social care services in the borough, or have cared for someone who has.

Create Easy Read guides, forms, and plans together, so that information is accessible to everyone.
Hold resident interview panels as part of recruiting adult social care staff.
Take part in a CQC inspection and a peer review to share our honest experiences.
Speak directly with senior leaders at the council.
Have a say in choosing which services get funded and provided.
We're always looking for new ways to make sure people who use social care services have a genuine voice in how those services are run. The members in our group are able to choose what they get involved in and they are reimbursed for their time.
